Accountant

What you will do

• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, adjustments, reconciliations, reviews, and Income Statement and Balance Sheet reporting.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and audit documentation, including analysis of US GAAP and Local GAAP differences.
• Support VAT and tax compliance through reconciliations, filings, documentation, and audit materials.
• Maintain internal controls and process documentation, support SOX and RACM requirements, and participate in internal and external audits.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, supplier reconciliations, customer claims, customs payments, employee-related costs, leases, royalties, and General Ledger activities.
• Support treasury and banking processes, including payment monitoring, bank reconciliations, SAP exchange rates, foreign currency transactions, and cash flow reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, or a related finance role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and strong knowledge of month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory accounting.
• Experience with VAT and tax compliance, including documentation, reconciliations, filings, and audits.
• Understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements, with strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, and business teams.
