Junior Accountant/Invoice Verification Specialist (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Monitor incoming invoices and primary accounting documents in SAP.
• Review and post invoices within the Purchase to Pay process.
• Perform monthly vendor account reconciliations.
• Communicate with suppliers and collaborate with Logistics, Procurement, IT, and internal Invoice Verification teams.
• Support month-end closing activities and year-end audits.
• Participate in automation and AI projects focused on optimizing P2P workflows.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or completed vocational training related to Accounting.
• Strong interest in Accounting, particularly Accounts Payable.
• Entry-level Finance experience, relevant internships, or initial experience in Accounting or Procurement is advantageous.
• Basic to good experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA or VIM experience is advantageous.
• Structured, detail-oriented approach, numerical affinity, and ability to meet deadlines reliably.
• English fluency at least at B2 level is required for internal and external collaboration.

Nice to have

• German, Russian, or Ukrainian language skills.
