Sales & Design Specialist - Brooklyn 3rd St (Furniture Retail)

Location: NY - Brooklyn; in-store position with weekend and holiday availability required

Salary: $21.00–$22.00 per hour, plus uncapped commission on shipped items and a performance-based bonus plan

What you will do

• Educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations.
• Design tailored furniture solutions aligned with client needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
• Drive sales by developing client relationships and following up on leads.
• Collaborate with the Architecture & Design community to build brand awareness and partnerships.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and a premium store experience.
• Process transactions and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience in retail sales, interior design, or client-facing design consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design or rendering tools.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing more than 40 pounds and follow safety protocols.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
