Senior Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote

Pay range: $100,000–$125,000 per year; the actual offer may vary based on geographic location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional security initiatives and help mature the security program in partnership with the CISO.
• Identify and implement automation across security systems, processes, incident response playbooks, and IT security procedures.
• Respond to customer security assessments and audit requests.
• Lead HITRUST, SOC2, and PCI DSS assessments, remediation, documentation, and certification activities.
• Evaluate security vendors and optimize security tools, services, device management, and security configurations.
• Investigate, document, and remediate security incidents while supporting security training and communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, data science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of combined experience in broader IT and security roles.
• Hands-on experience with security event triage, Windows, networking, SIEM, incident response, server and endpoint hardening, and application security.
• Experience creating automation with PowerShell or similar tools.
• Knowledge of privacy and security standards including HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, data analysis, project management, and compliance reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, CASP, or CISSP.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Cisco, Meraki, Dell laptops, AWS, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, and PowerShell.
• Experience securing software development, including GitHub security, code scanning, and AI code development.
