Design Specialist-Atlanta Howell Mill 1210 (Interior Design)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; store-based role with weekend and holiday availability required

Compensation: Competitive hourly base with uncapped commission on shipped items and a performance-based bonus plan.

What you will do

• Deliver personalized design consultations and recommend furniture, space-planning, and styling solutions.
• Build relationships with clients, trade professionals, and the local design community.
• Drive revenue, conversion, client retention, and other sales KPIs through consultative selling and outreach.
• Manage the full client lifecycle using CRM tools and maintain regular client communication.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and contribute to the store's aesthetic.
• Conduct in-home consultations and attend off-site meetings with trade clients as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success is preferred.
• Background in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong client needs assessment, problem-solving, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
