Director of Product (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid with 2–3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Own product strategy and direction by translating customer problems, data, and market opportunities into priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers while strengthening product judgment and independent ownership.
• Identify, launch, and scale new products, growth opportunities, and commercial value.
• Use quantitative evidence, customer insight, and market information to guide product decisions.
• Partner with senior customers, executives, and cross-functional Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Commercial teams.
• Explore AI and emerging technology to improve products and team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Significant Product Management experience with a record of leading, coaching, and developing Product Managers.
• Experience owning meaningful product decisions and outcomes in a product-led technology organization.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction and priorities.
• Experience identifying, launching, or scaling new products or growth opportunities.
• Strong data judgment and communication skills with senior executives, customers, and cross-functional leaders.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technology, with evidence of active learning and experimentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or financial platforms.
• Experience navigating complex products, platforms, stakeholders, and workflows.
