Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid with in-office collaboration days and occasional travel to Toronto. Remote candidates within Canada are considered.

What you will do

• Own the Budgets & Reporting squad roadmap, including sizing, sequencing, prioritization, and scope trade-offs.
• Lead budgets, spend programs and controls, reporting, period comparisons, out-of-policy visibility, and AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
• Take features from discovery through launch and iteration with a designer and four engineers.
• Define instrumentation and metrics for budget adoption, limit-ceiling changes, category expansion, and spend per active card.
• Manage dependencies across squads and collaborate with Product Ops, Analytics, Accounting, CX, and Sales.
• Work with finance leaders and controllers to reduce friction in complex B2B workflows, including permissions, policy configuration, bulk operations, exports, and accounting integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on B2B SaaS product management experience in a startup or scale-up.
• End-to-end ownership of a meaningful product surface with measurable business impact.
• Strong analytical skills, including comfort with SQL or close collaboration with data teams.
• Strong product judgment across workflows, edge cases, permissions, and accounting-related consequences.
• Ability to own outcomes, make evidence-based decisions, and communicate trade-offs with options.
• Must be based in Canada for the remote arrangement, with occasional travel to Toronto; the role otherwise follows a hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, spend management, or financial operations products.
• Exposure to policy engines, permissions systems, budgeting or FP&A tools, and reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with accounting workflows, including GL structures, dimensions, and month-end close.
