Data Analyst (Power BI)

What you will do

• Analyse and document business requirements for reporting and analytical needs.
• Discover and prepare data from multiple sources, validate data quality, identify gaps, and support ad hoc business requests.
• Support data modelling and mapping for the European Data Platform, ensuring business rules are correctly implemented.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, relationships, and DAX calculations.
• Monitor analytical platform outputs and contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and standards.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data and Analytics roles.
• Experience with SQL, data modelling, data mapping, Power BI, and DAX.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and explain insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in functional analysis; insurance industry experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or Databricks-based data and analytics environments.
• Knowledge of insurance industry processes.
