Data Analyst (Power BI/SQL): Analyzing and curating real estate data across the analytical lifecycle, from exploratory analysis and data transformations to actionable insights and Power BI dashboards with an accent on data quality, documentation, and stakeholder-focused reporting. Focus on building analytical reports, working with OLAP databases and datamarts, and improving data governance and operational decisions through reliable data products.

operates within Walker & Dunlop’s WDTech R&D organization, developing real estate data, data science, and technology solutions for the commercial real estate industry.
What you will do
- Analyze and curate data sources to support product and business decision-making.
- Own defined parts of the analytical lifecycle, from exploratory data analysis through insight delivery.
- Design, build, and deliver reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Perform data wrangling and transformations with SQL in analytical databases.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support data management and governance, including procedures for data ingestion and datamart creation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and end-to-end analytical projects.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience with OLAP databases such as Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of data ETL and processing techniques.
- Exposure to Python 3.5 or later.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience with geospatial querying.
