Senior Supply Specialist

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, New York, United States; less than 10% travel required.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for military aftermarket program requirements.
• Prepare and issue RFPs covering technical, quality assurance, customer flow-down, and company requirements.
• Analyze supplier proposals and lead negotiations involving complex contractual terms and conditions.
• Conduct supplier project reviews to monitor quality and delivery performance.
• Monitor and resolve Engineering Change Orders before final delivery.
• Manage purchase order documentation, order entry, vendor payment issues, and government compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant supply chain or procurement experience, or an associate’s degree and at least ten years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of purchase orders, RFQs/RFPs, quality assurance, customer flow-down requirements, parts scheduling, and DDMRP processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow supply chain regulations and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
