Sr Manager, Salesforce Platform Engineering

Location: Remote within the United States

Compensation: $172,000–$319,300 USD for Zone 4 locations; up to $440,500 USD depending on geographic zone.

What you will do

• Lead engineering delivery for Salesforce Go-To-Market platforms supporting Lead-to-Opportunity, Opportunity-to-Quote, and Quote-to-Cash processes.
• Manage, mentor, hire, and develop a team of Salesforce engineers, including other engineering leaders.
• Drive Salesforce org consolidation, data migrations, platform modernization, and lifecycle improvements.
• Design and support integrations with billing, provisioning, ERP, and enterprise data warehouse systems.
• Partner with product, sales operations, revenue operations, QA, data warehouse, and data quality teams.
• Improve platform health through AI engineering, CI/CD automation, observability, data quality controls, and technical debt reduction.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years of Salesforce platform development.
• 4+ years of people management experience leading Salesforce or enterprise engineering teams.
• Hands-on expertise with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce data modeling, SQL, SOQL, CPQ, security, automation, and platform design patterns.
• Experience delivering Salesforce integrations, migrations, transformations, reconciliations, monitoring, and org consolidations.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales, Revenue, and Experience Clouds and Go-To-Market processes.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, LLM-powered automation, or applied AI/ML tooling in engineering workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with CPQ, Agentic Revenue Management, distributed teams, or vendor/offshore teams.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Platform Developer certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional examples of AI or agentic tooling applied in engineering projects.
