Technical Program Manager - Security

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work with a requirement to work from the country listed and remain within commuting distance of a local hirify.global office.

Salary: $93,000–$160,000 per year, excluding potential equity, sign-on bonus, benefits, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Drive security deliverables through the software development and security lifecycle with security engineering, infrastructure, product, legal, and customer-facing teams.
• Translate security strategy, product priorities, and threat-landscape needs into focused team tasks, issues, and escalation paths.
• Track vulnerability remediation timelines, incident-response obligations, detection-coverage gaps, and other project risks.
• Improve collaboration and operational efficiency across security engineering, IT, legal, and customer-facing teams.
• Design and continuously improve scalable security processes and operational frameworks.
• Coordinate incident response, post-incident reviews, and the rollout and support of security-related product features and certifications.

Requirements

• Experience managing complex security or software development programs in an enterprise software company or startup.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions and learn security concepts including threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud infrastructure security.
• Excellent judgment and composure during high-pressure situations, including active security incidents.
• Experience building and scaling security programs and processes from the ground up.
• Must work from the United States and be based within a commutable distance of a local hirify.global office in a hybrid arrangement.
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance is preferred.
