Senior Engineer I - Quality (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; 100% inside during normal business hours

Annual base salary: $70,304–$205,000 USD, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Perform internal audits for worldwide locations against ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 21434, IEC 62443, and related standards.
• Support third-party QMS certifications, ongoing audits, and certification activities for acquired design and manufacturing locations.
• Resolve customer quality issues by working with engineering, failure analysis, sales, and manufacturing teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Improve processes and systems across global factory and new product development teams, including customer specification reviews and process mapping.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, gap analyses, QMS implementation, and programs targeting zero ppb.
• Lead or assist development of corporate quality applications and tools incorporating machine learning capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience, preferably in electrical/electronic or semiconductor industries.
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and tools, including SPC, DOE, regression analysis, MSA, Minitab, or JMP.
• Basic programming and data analysis skills with Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects and work with domestic and global teams across different time zones; travel expectation is 0%–25%.
