Senior Engineer I - Quality (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; onsite, 100% inside during normal business hours. Travel required at 0–25%, with flexibility to work with teams across domestic and global time zones.

What you will do

• Perform internal audits for worldwide locations against ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 21434, IEC 62443, and related standards.
• Support third-party QMS certifications, ongoing audits, acquisition integration, and certification activities across design and manufacturing locations.
• Resolve customer quality issues by working with Engineering, Failure Analysis, Sales, and Manufacturing to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support process and system improvements, new product releases, customer technical requirements, feasibility reviews, process mapping, and quality initiatives targeting 0 ppb.
• Perform gap analyses and implement QMS standards and requirements within company processes.
• Assist with and lead corporate quality application and tool development, including machine learning capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, such as Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. A master’s degree is preferred.
• 5–7 years of work experience, preferably in electrical/electronic or semiconductor industries.
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts and tools, including SPC, DOE, regression analysis, MSA, Minitab, or JMP.
• Basic programming and data analytics skills, including Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues and data in depth.
• General knowledge of semiconductor products and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience managing multiple projects independently or with cross-functional teams across organizational levels and presenting to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; capable leadership skills and strong self-motivation.
• Flexibility for travel and collaboration with teams across multiple domestic and global time zones.
