Senior Engineer – Validation and Design (Python)

What you will do

• Lead laboratory validation of test chips, including experiment planning, setup, execution, and documentation.
• Develop, automate, and optimize test procedures using Python and other scripting languages.
• Operate and maintain oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, source meters, signal generators, and other laboratory equipment.
• Analyze measurement datasets to assess chip performance, identify issues, and recommend design improvements.
• Collaborate with design, product, and test engineering teams to interpret results and drive corrective actions.
• Create validation reports, present findings, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in laboratory validation of integrated circuits across analog and digital domains.
• Advanced Python proficiency for test automation, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience in either analog or digital circuit design, with understanding of the complementary domain.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, measurement techniques, analytical troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Effective cross-functional communication, collaboration, leadership, and mentoring abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with test chip bring-up and silicon debug.
• Familiarity with data visualization, statistical analysis, lab automation frameworks, and hardware control through scripting.
• Experience in semiconductor product development cycles.
