Senior Engineer – Validation and Design (Analog/Digital IC)

What you will do

• Lead laboratory validation of test chips, including experiment planning, setup, execution, and documentation.
• Develop, automate, and optimize test procedures using Python and other scripting languages.
• Operate and maintain oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, source meters, signal generators, and other laboratory equipment.
• Analyze measurement datasets to assess chip performance, identify issues, and recommend design improvements.
• Collaborate with design, product, and test engineering teams, prepare validation reports, and present findings.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in laboratory validation and data analysis practices.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in laboratory validation of integrated circuits, covering both analog and digital domains.
• Advanced Python proficiency for test automation, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience in either analog or digital circuit design, with a solid understanding of the complementary domain.
• Strong understanding of integrated analog and digital circuit design and operation.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and measurement techniques.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with test chip bring-up and silicon debug.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of laboratory automation frameworks and hardware control through scripting.
• Experience in semiconductor product development cycles.
