(Sr.) Quality Lab Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Design and maintain product reliability test methods, equipment, electronic boards, peripherals, and test environments in collaboration with product qualification engineering and R&D.
• Define reliability test systems, perform electrical and reliability testing, optimize test methods, train operational staff, and oversee service and maintenance.
• Review test requirements and set up circuitry for lifetime stress testing, including DHTOL, to support product qualification.
• Own work packages or projects, align technically with suppliers, manage risks, and track schedule, quality, and cost while preparing stakeholder progress reports.
• Ensure equipment complies with relevant standards and health and safety requirements, remains user-friendly and operational, and is supported by current working instructions and manuals.
• Participate in continuous improvement studies, FMEA, calibrations, and related quality activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of measurement parameters and test equipment used for characterization and reliability testing of SiC and GaN devices.
• Experience with reliability test methods such as HTRB, H3TRB, and HTGB; DHTOL experience is preferred.
• Experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
• Software programming skills in C, Python, LabVIEW, or similar.
• Understanding of the AEC-Q101 industry quality standard.
• Fluent spoken and written German and English.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, goal orientation, and a high-quality mindset.
• Strong team-player attitude with willingness to learn and share knowledge, plus proficiency with standard office tools.
