Industrial Athletic Trainer (Occupational Health)

Location: Onsite in Williamson, New York, United States

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available.

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, and early symptom intervention in an industrial worksite.
• Conduct musculoskeletal screens, OSHA-level first aid, annual wellness assessments, and client-specific health evaluations.
• Perform real-time ergonomic evaluations, body mechanics coaching, Post Offer Employment Testing, and physical demands analyses.
• Create and deliver customized education and training presentations for employees at multiple organizational levels.
• Document care accurately in an electronic medical record and prepare client-specific reports.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical and occupational therapists, health coaches, medical assistants, and other health professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from a CAATE-accredited program, plus at least 2 years of industrial experience or 5 years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Current athletic training license in good standing as required by the state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care and prevention, clinical documentation, and electronic medical record software.
• Ability to communicate clearly, present educational materials, work independently, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

• Ergonomic training, certification, or experience.
