Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Poly)

Location: Taipei, Taipei City, Taiwan Region

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or QA leadership.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs involving software, firmware, and hardware integration.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, release management, risk management, and dependency tracking.
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, system integration, JIRA, TestRail, dashboards, and metrics tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, accountability, strategic thinking, and execution skills.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, Agile, or program management certification.

What you will do

• Drive complex technical programs across software, firmware, and system-level components for video products.
• Define program scope, milestones, dependencies, success criteria, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate engineering, QA, product, operations, and external partners to support alignment and on-time delivery.
• Ensure comprehensive test strategies, quality benchmarks, and release-readiness criteria are defined and met.
• Monitor program health through quality, velocity, defect, and release-readiness metrics and report status to leadership.
• Facilitate technical design discussions, resolve cross-team issues, and lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
