QA Engineer II (Python, Automation Test, UI, REST API)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of working 2 days per week from an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Design quality assurance and testing processes for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware across local, networked, and internet-based platforms.
• Analyze designs and determine the required test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities.
• Write and execute testing plans, protocols, scripts, and related documentation.
• Identify and debug software issues, recommending changes and improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on application design, project progress, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience with software quality assurance tools and processes.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including test plan execution, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of software and firmware design across multiple platform types.
• Mastery of English and the local language is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
