Senior Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Set up, qualify and calibrate ATE test cells for high-volume 300 mm wafer testing.
• Develop and debug automated test programs for DC, RF, optical and electro-optical device characterization.
• Own probe card specifications, design, qualification and integration with vendors.
• Analyze wafer-level measurement data, determine pass/fail outcomes, and support yield monitoring, reliability testing and failure analysis.
• Transfer laboratory characterization methods into production and develop automated test protocols for manufacturing integration.
• Implement statistical process control, optimize throughput, qualify suppliers and create test documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of hands-on experience with ATE systems, wafer probers and probe card specification, qualification and integration.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python for test automation, instrument control and automated data collection.
• Experience with electrical, optical and electro-optical measurements on EIC and PIC devices; knowledge of PIC/EIC structures and interfaces.
• Practical knowledge of design-for-test methodologies, data processing, statistical analysis, visualization and statistical process control.
• Experience transferring laboratory test methods into production, managing suppliers and qualifying incoming materials.

Nice to have

• RF or high-speed testing experience and knowledge of photonic component qualification and reliability standards.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of optoelectronic device physics, graphene-based devices and semiconductor packaging.
