Director, Capital Markets

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States; hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

What you will do

• Lead and develop a global Capital Markets team of 3–4 professionals.
• Develop financing strategies, oversee liquidity, credit facilities, short-term funding, and long-term debt issuance.
• Manage covenants, collateral, compliance obligations, interest-rate and currency hedging strategies.
• Build relationships with banks, lenders, and credit rating agencies in a high-yield credit environment.
• Lead share repurchase strategies, dividend recommendations, and short- and long-term cash-flow forecasting.
• Oversee pension reporting, public-company disclosures, and capital markets support for M&A and other strategic transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• 8+ years of progressive Treasury or Capital Markets experience.
• Prior people-management experience required.
• Strong financial analysis, financial modeling, communication, ownership, judgment, and accountability skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Accounting, Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, senior leadership, governance bodies, and external partners.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, and/or CPA.
• Experience operating in or transitioning to a high-yield credit environment.
