Treasury & Portfolio Finance Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY or Palm Beach Gardens, FL, United States

Salary: $60,000–$130,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential discretionary bonus and/or equity awards.

What you will do

• Manage treasury and portfolio finance activities across commingled funds, strategic custom funds, and multi-PM hedge fund platforms.
• Oversee margin, financing, cash management, funding, and balance sheet optimization across equities, fixed income, derivatives, futures, FX, and OTC products.
• Act as a primary contact for prime brokers, FCMs, custodians, and other counterparties on margin, financing, and funding matters.
• Coordinate fund launches, manager onboarding, capital deployment, counterparty setup, and portfolio monitoring with internal teams.
• Monitor financing rates, short borrow costs, dividend exposures, securities locates, and stock borrow opportunities.
• Support treasury automation, third-party treasury system implementation, and development of internal securities lending infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5–8+ years of experience in prime brokerage, clearing, or a hedge fund environment, particularly in treasury, stock loan, or client service.
• Strong understanding of funding and margin mechanics across multiple asset classes.
• Experience with hedge fund launches, complex fund structures, and products including equities, fixed income, derivatives, swaps, futures, and FX.
• Strong Excel skills and experience managing complex projects, external counterparties, treasury systems, margin systems, and financing systems.
• Ability to collaborate with investment, risk, legal, implementation, technology, and operations teams.
