Marketplace Country Lead - DE (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Own the German marketplace P&L, including revenue, margin, and free cash flow targets.
• Define and execute data-driven country strategy across categories and growth levers.
• Improve selection, price competitiveness, seller performance, and product availability.
• Lead a multifunctional team, including hiring, performance management, and talent development.
• Establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to improve accountability and execution.
• Partner with global stakeholders to influence roadmaps, allocate resources, and remove structural constraints.

Requirements

• Experience as a senior leader in e-commerce or marketplace businesses with country or regional responsibility.
• Strong understanding of European marketplaces and sellers.
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Structured, performance-oriented approach and effective collaboration with diverse international stakeholders.
• Proven success building long-term B2B and cross-border partnerships.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German required.
