Group Leader - Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Galway, Ireland, 5 days per week

What you will do

• Lead a manufacturing group to achieve production, safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Establish, monitor, and improve standard work, cell metrics, work instructions, material delivery systems, and 5S practices.
• Plan manpower and resources, coordinate daily output, and manage overtime, vacation, and absence administration.
• Lead root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training plans, performance reviews, development conversations, and employee relations issues with HR.
• Control and monitor machinery, maintenance-related activities, consumables, and operating budgets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Profound experience using manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Third-level qualification in business, engineering, or a similar field.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven and self-motivated approach; experience collaborating with unions is an advantage.
