TL;DR
Sr. Engineer Manufacturing (Weekend Shift) (High-Reliability Semiconductors): Supporting electrical back-end test and reliability screening operations for high-reliability discrete semiconductor products with an accent on HTRB, burn-in, electrical testing, and process control. Focus on applying reliability engineering principles, analyzing yield and quality data, developing automation and process improvements, and maintaining compliance with industry and customer specifications.

Location: Ennis, Ireland. Thursday to Monday, 08:00–16:30, with Tuesday and Wednesday as rest days. Travel required 0%–25%.

What you will do

  • Support product and process definition for high-reliability discrete semiconductor products.
  • Lead projects involving High Temperature Reverse Bias, burn-in, electrical testing, and reliability screening.
  • Evaluate and qualify equipment while improving process standardization, quality, throughput, yield, and cost of ownership.
  • Apply reliability engineering principles, failure mechanisms, acceleration models, and screening effectiveness analysis.
  • Use data analysis, statistical process control, and root-cause/corrective-action methods to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Create and maintain test flows, specifications, product documentation, and process controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics; Electronic or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and semiconductor device behavior.
  • Ability to learn and apply detailed product and process knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with JMP, Minitab, or Excel analytics is advantageous.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, DOE, DMAIC, FMEA, or SPC methodologies.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, discrete power devices, or ATE/electrical test environments.
