Technical Staff Engineer- Validation (Mixed-Signal and Linear Devices)

What you will do

• Develop and execute validation plans for new mixed-signal and linear device designs.
• Define test requirements, create test fixtures, and select appropriate laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineers to understand architectures and identify critical performance parameters.
• Perform bench-level testing and characterization across varied operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot and debug new ICs, identify failure root causes, and support design improvements.
• Document validation results and provide performance data for reports, datasheets, and application notes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in validation or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of semiconductors and devices such as operational amplifiers, comparators, DigiPOTs, temperature sensors, and ADCs.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, Audio Precision, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and NI PXIe automated test equipment.
• Experience scripting and automating test processes with Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
