Associate Manager, Private Equity & FoF Accounting

What you will do

• Manage key private equity fund client relationships and coordinate delivery timelines.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, accruals, valuation adjustments, investor allocations, and management fee calculations.
• Review LPAs, offering documents, side letters, and IMAs to apply fund terms accurately.
• Build and maintain distribution waterfall models and review financial statements, schedules, and disclosures.
• Coordinate year-end audits with clients, auditors, and internal teams.
• Lead, coach, and provide performance feedback to junior staff while contributing to hiring and team initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience focused on alternative investment funds, including private equity or fund of funds.
• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and other comprehensive bases of accounting, with emphasis on investment partnerships.
• Experience supervising junior professionals, with strong leadership, communication, multitasking, and project management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
