Principal Specialist- Benefits (Employee Benefits): Managing employee benefit programs and leave-of-absence processes for a US workforce with an accent on benefits compliance, employee counseling, and complex issue resolution. Focus on administering FMLA and ADA leave, supporting open enrollment, and applying ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ERISA requirements.
Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; hybrid options may be available.

What you will do
- Partner with the onsite Senior Benefits Manager on corporate benefits projects.
- Resolve complex benefits issues and counsel employees on benefit plans.
- Administer the in-house leave-of-absence process and apply applicable federal and state leave laws.
- Support new-hire orientations and annual US benefits open enrollment.
- Coordinate with employees and benefits providers to resolve plan-related issues.
- Oversee employee benefits events and support wellness activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- At least five years of progressively responsible benefits experience.
- FMLA, leave-of-absence, and ADA experience required.
- Knowledge of ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ERISA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to work independently and in a team.

- Experience with Workday.
