Senior Director, Compensation and Benefits

What you will do

• Oversee company-wide compensation and benefits programs, including health, life, disability, and savings plans.
• Advise employees on benefits eligibility, coverage, plan provisions, and changes.
• Research market practices and recommend improvements to incentive compensation, equity compensation, salary structures, and job mapping.
• Manage benefits providers, carriers, contributions, payroll deductions, records, reporting, and employee surveys.
• Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Drive automation, standardization, process excellence, HR metrics, and cross-functional enterprise initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive compensation and benefits experience, including 12+ years managing these functions at Director level.
• Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, compensation trends, equity compensation, job mapping, and compensation tables.
• Experience with HR compliance and risk management in complex, fast-paced environments, preferably in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and deadline-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, CCP, or similar certification is preferred.
