SAP S/4HANA Domain Architect (Finance or Supply Chain)

Location: US-DE-Wilmington; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Salary: $127,680–$199,500 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and maintain future-state enterprise architecture aligned with SAP S/4HANA business capabilities and ERP roadmaps.
• Lead architecture decisions for Finance processes or Supply Chain processes, including planning, manufacturing, delivery, inventory, and logistics.
• Establish boundary application strategies and determine when satellite systems should be replaced, retained, or integrated.
• Define clean core guardrails, guide SAP extensibility patterns, and govern pragmatic exceptions.
• Lead custom code rationalization, remediation, and redesign while reducing technical debt.
• Align SAP and non-SAP integrations and prepare executive-ready architecture recommendations for governance forums.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture or solution architecture.
• Significant hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep functional and architectural expertise in either Finance or Supply Chain business processes.
• Experience defining enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and target-state designs in complex environments.
• Ability to communicate architecture concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Consulting or systems integration experience across greenfield, brownfield, or selective-transition SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience with clean core governance, extensibility frameworks, and custom code reduction.
• Familiarity with LeanIX, capability mapping, or dependency visualization tools.
• Experience with SAP modernization assessments, simplification items, readiness planning, or custom code impact analysis.
