Manager Facilities Engineering

What you will do

• Deliver facilities operations, engineering, building and office space management, and equipment asset maintenance services for manufacturing operations.
• Operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical, HVAC, chemical, energy, ultra-pure water, and wastewater systems.
• Hire and oversee external contractors, including electricians, plumbers, elevator repair specialists, painters, roofers, and grounds maintenance providers.
• Develop and implement capital improvement projects covering construction, remodeling, renovation, and facilities maintenance.
• Inspect facilities and work in progress, advise construction supervisors and contractors, and prepare condition, repair, and cost reports.
• Support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Experience with facilities operations and engineering services in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, HVAC, chemical systems, energy systems, and water and wastewater treatment.
• Experience managing contractors and facilities equipment assets.
• Ability to develop engineering designs, bidding documentation, inspections, and repair cost estimates.
• Ability to perform all activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
