Manufacturing Technician (EPI)

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and error correction.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test equipment and components.
• Receive and inspect parts, audit availability, and identify defects before build, test, or repair work.
• Enter progress, labor, and work expense data into computer systems and perform computer programming, software installation, or repair when required.
• Follow safety procedures, use protective equipment, and report hazards, accidents, injuries, and emergencies.

Requirements

• Ability to develop analytical skills and apply scientific methods to a variety of activities.
• Ability to understand how the work team integrates with other teams.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems independently using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Good communication skills for exchanging information.
• Ability to work hands-on in a cleanroom environment and follow health, safety, and security procedures.
