Programmer Analyst (C#/SQL)

Location: Boston, MA or Waltham, MA office; hybrid attendance required six times per month; hiring locally only

Salary: USD 90,000–100,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders to define scope, business requirements, and technical solutions.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
• Translate requirements into platform configurations, process improvements, integrations, and custom software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components, workflows, and automation using C#, SQL, and other programming languages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle and support implementation, deployment, and post-production activities.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, documentation, development, testing, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 1–3+ years of professional experience in financial services, fintech, enterprise software, or technology consulting.
• Proficiency in SQL and C#, Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with software development lifecycle processes and collaboration with software development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with technical documentation, workflow designs, and solution specifications.
• Experience with enterprise platform configuration, systems integration, APIs, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development, analytics, documentation, or productivity tools.
• Knowledge of capital markets, trading operations, investment management, or post-trade processing.
• Experience supporting client-facing projects or technical consulting engagements.
