CNC Machinist II-Day Shift

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing site in Briggs, Texas, near Cedar Park. Availability for first or second shifts and overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Machine high-quality rocket and spacecraft components, including complex geometries made from high-temperature alloys.
• Read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.
• Set up machines, perform program edits, and manufacture parts using advanced equipment.
• Inspect and document manufactured parts against quality requirements.
• Follow safety standards and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Keep work areas clean and organized while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a CNC machinist.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and regularly lifting 25 pounds.
• Good communication, mathematics, and computer skills.
• Reliable, positive, team-oriented approach to work.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Mazak, DMG Mori, Okuma, or VTL experience.
• Experience with 4- and 5-axis machines.
• Mill/turn machining experience.
