Scientist Application & Test (m/f) (Advanced Electronics Materials)

What you will do

• Create customer-specific prototypes of thermal interface materials and EMI shielding gasket materials.
• Develop, iterate, and execute test methods and test vehicles that simulate customer processes and issues.
• Investigate customer needs through direct interaction and iterative engagement.
• Support R&D development, customer pursuits, and customer visits.
• Maintain laboratory safety, quality, documentation, and experiment records.

Requirements

• Engineering background in mechanical, materials, electrical, chemical engineering, or a similar field.
• Technical vocational education combined with strong practical experience may also be considered.
• Understanding of experimental methods and design of experiments principles.
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills and a structured, disciplined approach to work.
• Customer-focused communication skills, reliability, ownership, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with thermally conductive or EMI shielding materials.
• Experience in electronics, power electronics, automotive, or industrial applications.
• Familiarity with quality systems, audits, or customer qualification processes.
