Robotics Software Engineer - Grasping (Robotics)

Base salary: $174,400–$237,800 per year, plus a 15% bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement robust, efficient, production-ready algorithms for robotic grasping and manipulation.
• Apply advances in robotics to practical problems in complex industrial manufacturing environments.
• Translate partner requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Develop a software layer that abstracts manipulation complexity and supports workflows from design to execution.
• Integrate and validate robotics solutions across industrial tasks with roboticists and application engineers.
• Improve the robotics software framework and contribute to reliable product releases.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in robotic manipulation.
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, spatial transformations, and rigid body dynamics.
• Direct experience testing and iterating on physical robots.
• 3 years of professional experience programming robotics software in C++ and Python.
• Track record of shipping production-quality code.

Nice to have

• PhD in Robotics and Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or a related field focused on robotic manipulation.
• Deep expertise with JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience across the full robotics stack, including kinematics, motion generation, system integration, and testing.
