Deployment Strategist

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace. The role requires onsite customer meetings and 25–75% travel, varying by location and team.

Salary: $110,000–$170,000 per year, excluding potential bonuses, benefits, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Meet customer analysts onsite to understand critical questions, workflows, and operational problems.
• Identify relevant datasets and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate them into stable, extensible data pipelines.
• Build customized workflows for new user groups and lead training sessions to improve product adoption and operational impact.
• Present results and proposals to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate field insights into cross-product offerings.
• Build demos and scope potential engagements in new industries and locations.

Requirements

• Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages such as Python, R, Matlab, or SQL.
• Ability to travel 25–75% is required, depending on location and team.
• Ability to analyze data deeply and solve open-ended problems in unstructured environments.
• Adaptability, introspection, and willingness to learn, guide, lead, and follow.
