Marketplace Quant (Pricing/Financial Data): Evaluating ML models and improving pricing and payment decisions for an AI recruiting marketplace with an accent on statistical analysis, marketplace dynamics, and quantitative economics. Focus on designing incentive and compensation structures, measuring ROI through experiments, and translating data findings into operational improvements.

Salary: $150K–$250K annually, plus equity

What you will do
- Evaluate machine learning models applied to a dynamic marketplace using statistical methods.
- Design incentives and compensation structures to improve marketplace efficiency.
- Translate quantitative findings into actionable pricing and payment changes.
- Collaborate across teams to improve operational processes based on data.
- Scale experimentation and ROI measurement tools.
Requirements
- Quantitative background applied to pricing, financial data, or risk assessment.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with economics, including behavioral economics, pricing models, or game theory, or with financial data.
- Degree in mathematics, physics, economics, statistics, or computer science with relevant economics exposure.
- Background in a top-tier quantitative program or strong financial services or fintech experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
