Portfolio Analytics Architect (Investment Management)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and able to begin work in the U.S. on the first day.

Salary: $103,000–$110,000 annual base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The specific range depends on work location, skills, experience, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end data validation for client data conversion projects.
• Develop scalable validation analytics processes in Databricks.
• Write custom Python logic to detect large-scale data anomalies and automate remediation.
• Facilitate recurring client sessions, provide progress updates, and guide projects through completion.
• Research portfolio performance discrepancies, recommend fixes for manual data issues, and document differences in system calculation methodologies.
• Coordinate project teams, escalate risks to stakeholders and executive leadership, and implement AI-driven automation and LLM integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Economics.
• At least 2 years of experience in technology, finance, or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with complex investment datasets, including multi-asset portfolios, performance data, and market data.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, and/or SQL, with familiarity with ETL fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and experience with Databricks or another cloud-based distributed data platform.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, and client-objection handling skills.
