Portfolio Analytics Architect (Investment Management)

Location: Salt Lake City, United States; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and begin work there on the first day.

Salary: $103,000–$129,000 base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end data validation with clients and internal project teams during data conversion projects.
• Develop scalable data analytics and validation processes in Databricks.
• Write custom Python logic to detect large-scale anomalies and automate remediation.
• Research portfolio performance discrepancies, recommend fixes for manual data issues, and document calculation methodology differences.
• Facilitate recurring client sessions, communicate project status, and manage expectations across project teams.
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation and LLM integrations while escalating project risks to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in Technology, Finance, or Consulting.
• Hands-on experience with complex investment datasets, including multi-asset portfolios, performance data, and market data.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, and/or SQL, with familiarity with ETL fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and experience with Databricks or a cloud-based distributed data platform.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, client-management, and project coordination skills.
