Senior Quality Test Engineer I (Identity and Access Management)

What you will do

• Design and implement functional, integration, end-to-end, and API test automation for OAuth 2.0, OIDC, entitlement APIs, and administrative operations.
• Build and maintain Playwright and REST Assured automation frameworks, ensuring reliability, maintainability, coverage, and CI integration.
• Design performance, load, stress, and spike-testing scenarios using JMeter and k6, then interpret results with New Relic, Amazon CloudWatch, and Grafana.
• Integrate automated testing into GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows running on AWS infrastructure.
• Validate microservice API contracts, response schemas, error handling, configuration changes, and distributed system boundaries.
• Report defects, perform root-cause analysis, review pull requests, and collaborate with developers, architects, platform engineers, and stakeholders to improve testability and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Quality Test Engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent computer-related discipline.
• Strong experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing automated test frameworks and quality strategies across functional, integration, end-to-end, non-functional, performance, and accessibility testing.
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript, REST Assured or equivalent API-testing libraries with Java, and automated REST API test suites.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC authentication flows, token exchange, token refresh, and token introspection.
• Experience with JMeter or k6, GitHub Actions multi-job workflows, secrets management, CI/CD integration, mock and stub tools, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, test-design, defect-management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Codex for test authoring, stub generation, coverage analysis, or test-output investigation.
• Familiarity with Keycloak, identity-provider configuration, authentication flows, and OIDC client setup.
• Experience with Terraform, WireMock, Docker, and Kubernetes.
