Senior Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Ovar, Aveiro, Portugal; manufacturing site role with on-site production activities.

Annual gross salary: €25,200–€30,000, depending on experience, plus equity.

What you will do

• Plan, redesign, standardize, and optimize manufacturing systems to improve productivity and reduce total cost.
• Define assembly methods and sequences for new project quotations and document production planning steps.
• Conduct time studies, manage routings, and calculate monthly production-line capacity from short-term planning quantities.
• Support new-product industrialization through Value Stream Design, line balancing, Lean Line Designs, and sample-run preparation.
• Coordinate manufacturing deliverables, DFMA workshops, PFMEA improvements, production quality instructions, and capacity documentation.
• Train operators and follow production-line release activities while supporting daily continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• More than 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Lean principles and their practical application.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and take on challenges.
• Written and spoken English proficiency required.
