What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage a sustainable firmwide regulatory inventory process for applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Assess regulatory scope, applicability, issuing authority, enforceability, and materiality using legal and regulatory judgment.
• Draft and review clear summaries of regulatory requirements and obligations for business, Compliance, and senior management audiences.
• Manage regulatory inventory data, citations, attributes, and connections to systems, policies, controls, and risk taxonomies.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Engineering, and business stakeholders on regulatory interpretation and impact assessment.
• Support regulatory examinations, inquiries, internal audits, regulatory change management, and compliance risk assessments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, legal, regulatory, compliance, risk management, or a comparable control function.
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD, LLM, or equivalent legal or regulatory qualification strongly preferred.
• Experience reviewing, interpreting, and applying laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, or supervisory expectations in financial services.
• Understanding of compliance risk management mandates, regulatory inventory, regulatory change, policy governance, controls, or obligations management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, written communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel; comfort using AI tooling and data-enabled approaches for legal and regulatory reviews.
