Compliance Officer and MLRO (Web3)

What you will do

• Manage daily Compliance department activities and maintain the Hong Kong compliance and AML program.
• Conduct AML/CFT reviews, risk analysis, and monitoring of accounts and transaction flows.
• Advise business stakeholders on regulatory standards, compliance obligations, procedures, and controls.
• Develop and enhance AML governance, policies, procedures, and compliance processes with group Compliance Officers.
• Lead compliance projects and collaborate with technical teams to improve AML/KYC systems.
• Maintain regulatory registers, submit required filings, and liaise with regulators and law enforcement agencies regarding requests and STRs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Law.
• Compliance professional designation such as ICA or CAMS.
• 8–10 years of relevant Compliance experience in a financial institution or regulated entity.
• Strong knowledge of virtual assets, payment services, and financial institution business dynamics.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese.
• Analytical, meticulous, organized, self-motivated, and able to manage concurrent matters independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with virtual asset KYT analytical tools such as Chainalysis or Elliptic.
• Proficiency with Google products and AI agentic tools such as Claude.
