Senior Technical Program Manager (Semiconductor/Photonics)

Location: Alhambra, California, USA; onsite

Salary: $137,000–$195,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead NPD, NPI, product, and customer programs from development through production ramp.
• Define program plans, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and execution cadence.
• Coordinate R&D, fab operations, reliability engineering, product line management, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Track program status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate Tier-1 customer programs and qualification timelines.
• Align program execution with manufacturing readiness, capacity ramp, and customer delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, engineering, or operations in semiconductor, photonics, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs from development through production.
• Strong understanding of NPD, NPI, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to influence execution without direct authority, manage multiple programs, and resolve issues proactively.
• Experience with Project, Smartsheet, Excel, and program tools; ERP exposure such as SAP or Oracle.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MS or PhD.
• Experience with InP lasers and related devices.
• ERP exposure to SAP or Oracle.
