Principal Rust Development Engineer (Crypto)

What you will do

• Design and develop core wallet modules using Rust or transition from a comparable backend language.
• Optimize system architecture to improve performance, stability, throughput, and latency.
• Design and implement efficient in-memory systems for high-performance financial-grade workloads.
• Integrate blockchain networks to support transfers, rollbacks, transaction signing, and transaction broadcasting.
• Strengthen system and asset security, participate in code reviews, and collaborate on technical delivery.
• Share technical knowledge and help improve the team's engineering capabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience and a solid computer science foundation.
• Experience with Rust or proficiency in C, C++, Go, or a similar language with willingness to learn Rust.
• Familiarity with multithreading and concurrent programming.
• Experience developing high-performance or financial-grade systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently take ownership of complex technical tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience developing blockchain wallets or similar financial systems.
• Knowledge of on-chain and off-chain cryptographic algorithms.
• Experience participating in security audits and identifying or remediating vulnerabilities.
