MTS - Tooling, Vision and Controls Manager

Location: Corvallis, Oregon, United States of America

Salary: $130,700–$205,200 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of software, controls, electrical, mechanical, integration, and test engineers, technicians, and program managers.
• Deliver platforms for print quality assessment, pen characterization, manufacturing automation, end-of-line testing, reliability testing, controls systems, and data collection.
• Partner with business stakeholders to set priorities, allocate resources, and deliver solutions across multiple hirify.global businesses.
• Develop technology roadmaps and investment strategies for measurement, automation, smart manufacturing, and engineering productivity.
• Lead collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business organizations across Corvallis, Bangalore, and Singapore.
• Own department financials, workforce planning, development processes, quality standards, and operational execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related science.
• 8+ years of experience leading engineering teams as a program manager or engineering technical lead.
• Ability to set strategy and develop diverse teams of engineers, technicians, and program managers.
• Strong planning, execution, people leadership, mentoring, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong Project Management Fundamentals skills and experience executing strategic goals and roadmaps.

Nice to have

• Understanding of software, vision, and hardware development strategies.
• Systems integration experience and previous management experience.
• Familiarity with print quality evaluation, applications, and algorithms.
