Base pay range: $130,000–$170,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Design and develop electrical harness systems for spacecraft, including connectors, backshells, wires, shielding, and routing.
- Generate wiring diagrams, pinout tables, interface definitions, fabrication drawings, and other harness documentation.
- Interpret spacecraft system architectures and define electrical interfaces with systems engineering.
- Create and maintain harness bills of materials in the PLM system and support fabrication using Capital Essentials, NX, and Teamcenter.
- Define and verify harness acceptance criteria, including continuity, insulation resistance, functional testing, and inspection.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering and assembly, integration, and test teams while troubleshooting electrical issues during fabrication, integration, and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or another engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of electrical engineering or avionics experience.
- Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- For U.S. office roles, eligibility to meet ITAR requirements and authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Ability to work for prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and using a computer, with occasional exposure to moderate production-area noise, dust, and fumes.
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or another engineering discipline.
- Experience in aerospace and defense, satellite development programs, or satellite operations.
- Knowledge of power distribution, signal integrity, grounding, communication systems, and interfaces such as RS-422, SPI, Ethernet, and CAN bus.
- Familiarity with NASA-STD-8739.4, IPC/WHMA-A-620, electrical harness testing, thermal and mechanical routing considerations, and JAMA.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
