Location: Long Beach, California, United States. This position is based at 's global headquarters and is subject to U.S. Government space technology export regulations.
Base pay range: $140,000β$210,000 USD per year.

What you will do
- Design and develop spacecraft electrical harness systems, including connectors, backshells, wires, shielding, and routing.
- Generate wiring diagrams, pinout tables, interface definitions, fabrication drawings, and harness documentation.
- Interpret spacecraft system architectures and define electrical interfaces with systems engineering.
- Create and maintain harness bills of materials in PLM tools and support fabrication to space-grade standards.
- Define and verify harness acceptance criteria through continuity, insulation resistance, functional testing, and inspection.
- Collaborate with systems, mechanical, and AIT teams while troubleshooting harness issues during fabrication, integration, and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or another engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of electrical engineering or avionics experience.
- Strong electrical design knowledge covering wiring, interfaces, schematics, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- For work in U.S. offices, eligibility to comply with ITAR requirements is required: U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylum status, or eligibility to obtain the necessary authorizations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or another engineering discipline.
- Aerospace or defense industry experience, including satellite development or operations.
- Experience with Capital Essentials, NX, Teamcenter, JAMA, NASA-STD-8739.4, or IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Knowledge of power distribution, signal integrity, grounding, communication systems, thermal and mechanical routing considerations, and harness electrical testing.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
