Location: On-site in Mojave, California, United States. Travel is estimated at less than 5% as needed to support the department.

Base salary: $83,000–$120,500 for Level I, $101,000–$146,500 for Level II, or $120,500–$158,000 for Senior level, depending on qualifications and leveling.

Company

hirify.global develops reusable air-launched Talon testbeds and hypersonic flight-test platforms for operationally realistic testing above Mach 5.

What you will do

  • Define avionics and electrical system architecture, drawing trees, block diagrams, interface control documents, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.
  • Develop and maintain system and subsystem drawing packages, design rules, standards, and configuration-controlled documentation.
  • Partner with harness engineers on routing requirements and incorporate engineering and manufacturing redlines.
  • Support design validation testing, develop test plans and procedures, and resolve design-related failures.
  • Provide liaison engineering support to technicians and collaborate with purchasing, manufacturing, integration, and testing disciplines.

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical engineering, avionics, experimental aircraft, launch vehicle integration, or related aerospace system development.
  • Experience with aerospace production drawings, work orders, PDM systems, engineering control, and revision-controlled release processes.
  • Familiarity with aerospace hardware such as connectors, relays, and wire types.
  • Experience with Siemens Capital or Mentor Graphics, 3D CAD, and MS Office; CAD parts librarian experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 0–2 years for Level I, 2–5 years for Level II, or 5–10 years for Senior level.
  • Ability to communicate technical challenges, prioritize work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to complex aerospace system integration.

Nice to have

  • Security clearance.
  • Launch vehicle or aircraft electrical power systems integration experience.
  • Hands-on aircraft electrical installation experience.
  • 3D CAD modeling with NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
  • Configuration management experience with Jira.

Culture & Benefits

  • 9/80 work schedule.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage.
  • Paid maternity and parental leave.
