Location: On-site in Mojave, California, United States; travel estimated at less than 5%.
Base salary: $120,500–$158,000 for Sr-level, $157,000–$206,000 for Staff-level, or $181,000–$237,300 for Principal-level; annual salary established case by case.

What you will do
- Design, modify, develop, and integrate electrical and avionics systems for carrier aircraft and hypersonic vehicles.
- Architect, maintain, and debug 28VDC and 115VAC, 400Hz electrical power systems using aircraft components, relays, circuit breakers, TRUs, and bus feeds.
- Create, review, maintain, and approve wiring diagrams and electrical harness documentation.
- Develop electrical requirements, interface control documents, verification activities, test procedures, and engineering tools.
- Execute electrical system testing, integrated testing, component analysis, and flight-test activities.
- Represent electrical systems in mission control, support console operations, collaborate with subcontractors, and communicate technical status to the Avionics Chief Engineer.
Requirements
- Relevant aerospace development experience in electrical engineering, avionics, aircraft integration, or hypersonic vehicle integration.
- Experience with EWIS standards, aerospace relays such as MIL-PRF-83536, wiring harness diagrams, electrical interface management, and risk management.
- Experience writing test procedures and reports, performing verification activities, and supporting technical aerospace leadership.
- Experience with Matlab, Python or equivalent software; Siemens Capital, AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent wiring-diagram software; and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with 5–10 years for Sr-level, 10–20 years for Staff-level, or 20+ years for Principal-level.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship may be required for some government-cleared or restricted positions.
Nice to have
- Government agency, hypersonic program, Electrical Load Analysis, or 747 electrical systems experience.
- Experience with IEEE 802.3, IRIG-106, PCB design and bring-up, mission control console operations, Siemens NX, Catia, Solidworks, LabVIEW, or Jira.
- Existing security clearance.
