Senior Integration Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Provide product consultancy and technical support for hirify.global Algorithmics implementations and client environments.
• Define and scope configuration, interfacing, enhancement, and implementation work with project managers, technical engineers, and financial engineers.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Algorithmics and third-party database, middleware, and reporting products.
• Develop customized modules and solutions using Python, Perl, shell scripting, or similar tools.
• Design data interfaces and mappings between client systems and hirify.global Algorithmics products, including functional and volume testing.
• Support client training, acceptance testing, first-line post-implementation support, pre-sales discovery, proposals, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in a numerate or technical discipline, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Native Japanese and fluent English communication skills.
• Hands-on Linux experience and strong shell scripting skills.
• Strong programming experience in at least one language, such as Python, Perl, or Java.
• Familiarity with SQL, database installation, sizing, performance, and at least one current relational database management system.
• Strong communication, presentation, initiative, planning, problem-solving, and client-facing skills, including experience with proposals, pitches, or strategic solutioning.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles in the financial services industry.
• Experience with financial risk management, regulatory requirements, or performance measurement solutions.
